Dharamshala is a hill city in the Kangra Valley and is surrounded by dense forest consisting mainly of Deodar cedar trees. This place have a newly built cricket stadium which now offers Himachali youth to prepare for cricket which before was not easily possible. The village McLeodGanj, lying on the hills which is known worldwide for the presence of the Dalai Lama.
Snow Monk Camp is the first community based sustainable tourism project in district Kangra, Dhauladhar Himalaya, promoting and taking along many village homestays near the Dharamshala region.
