Baleni Pass Trek : Baleni Pass is accessed through the Khauli Valley which is also the source of Khauli River, at an elevation of about 3,750 meters located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh The trek to Baleni Pass is one of the most stunning alpine treks in Himachal Pradesh. The trail crosses several gushing streams, through lush green meadows and thick forest that is a home to numerous Himalayan bird and animal species. The Baleni Pass trek originates from Salli village and passing through a thick pine forest.

From Salli village there is a gradual ascend to Rehla campsite. The next day’s climb takes ones over the eastern ridge and approaches the pass. It will be a full days trek descending back to Rehla camp. Baleni Pass also offers access to Lam Dal seven holy lakes. The new latest and shortest route for the trek starts from Salli village and one can use Snow Monk Camp as the base. Snow Monk camp offers modern washrooms and toilets and delicious meals. It makes all the sense to use it as a base for treks such as Baleni Pass.
