Arrive Pathankot by overnight train / Kangra airport  – Transfer to Salli Village (1750M) (90kms/3 Hrs Drive) OR 40kms/ 1:30mins

2.

Trek : Salli – Daled (2500M) 10 Kms/4 Hrs

3.

Trek : Daled – Kareri Lake (3100 M) 5 Kms/ 3 Hrs

4.

Trek : Kareri Lake - Bagga (2500 M) 10 Kms/ 4 Hrs

5.

Trek : Bagga – Rawa Village – Bahl Village (2130 M) 15 Km/6 Hrs

6.

Trek Bahl – Naddi / Drive to Mcleodganj. Visit the temple of HH Dalai Lama 1 hr trek & 100kms/ 3hrs

7.

Visit Norbulingka Institute / Transfer to Pathankot for overnight train OR Kangar airport for connecting flight 90kms / 3 hrs OR 25 Km/ 1 hr

 

DAY 01  : DRIVE TO SALLI VILLAGE FOR SNOW MONK CAMP

     
  • Arrive Pathankot railway station by overnight train / Kangra airport
  • Drive to village Salli
  • Check into Snow Monk trekking camps
  • Lunch
  • We go for a short walk to visit Kotharna village near the camp so as to experience local village life.
  • Enjoy adventure activities such as high rope course
  • Dinner & Overnight

Day 02   : TREK SALLI VILLAGE – DALED (2500M) 10 Kms/4 Hrs

 
  • Post breakfast we trek along the Khauli River crossing the Salli village towards Daled camp site
  • The trail crosses through dense forest crossing Chandraila temple leading to the meadows of Daled
  • Arrive at Daled and organize the camp for overnight stay
  • Evening to explore the surrounding area
  • Dinner & Overnight

Day 03  : DALED – KARERI LAKE (3100 MTS) 5 KMS/ 3 HRS

 
  • Trail goes through mixed forests of oak, rhododendron and pine. The trail climbs steeply up crossing the ridge and descending down to Kareri Lake
  • Post lunch to explore the lake area
  • Night stay in tents at bank of Kareri Lake.

Day 04  : KARERI LAKE – BAGGA (2500 MTS) 10 KMS/ 5 HRS

 
  • After a short ascent from the lake is a steep descent through the forest to Bagga.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 05  : BAGGA – RAWA VILLAGE - BAHL VILLAGE. (2130 MTS) 15 KM/6 HRS

 
  • The trial goes down hill through the forest. Rawa village is situated on the bank of a small river. Thereon, It is a steep ascent through the forest to Bahl Village.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in a village.

DAY 06  : BAHL– NADDI - DRIVE TO MCLEODGANJ 3 KMS/ 1HRS

 
  • After breakfast at camp we start our level walk to Naddi town where our cars will meet us and take us to Mcleodganj.
  • Reach Mcleodganj by lunch time.
  • Check into the hotel
  • Walk to HH Dalai Lama temple & Explore the Tibetan Market in Mcleod Ganj.
  • Night stay in Hotel.

DAY 07  : VISIT NORBULINKA INSTITUTE & TEA GARDENS – DRIVE TO PATHANKOT (90KMS/3HRS)/ Kangra Airport

 
  • Post breakfast, half day city tour - Visit the Norbulinka Institute & Tea estates of Kangra valley
  • Norbulingka Institute is dedicated to handing down tradition and restoring standards by providing training, education and employment for Tibetans. It supports an environment in which Tibetan community and family values can flourish. It reconciles the traditional creatively and respectfully with the modern, and seeks to create an international awareness of Tibetan values and their expression in art and literature. The institute houses gardens, museum, temple, arts & crafts, sculptures & galleries.
  • Visit traditional arts workshops such as – Thangka painting. Sculpture and wood work
  • Visit the Doll museum - the Losel Doll Museum houses a unique collection of 150 costumed dolls depicting the regional, official and monastic costumes of Tibet.,
  • Shopping at the Norling shop is a delight - well lit and beautifully set out with a unique Norling range of fine goods, all of which have been made by hand. such as our rich silk appliquéd hangings, cushion covers and bedspreads, and our Tibetan boxes and chests decorated with a lightly moulded design that enhances the effect of paint and colour, you will not find anywhere else.
  • Lunch in the Norling café serving a wide range of delicious Italian, Tibetan, Chinese & Indian dishes. Delightful cakes, real coffee, local tea and fresh juices
  • Visit tea gardens & processing units of Kangra
  • Transfer to Pathankot for overnight train to Delhi/ Kangra airport
